The Position:
We are looking to appoint an experienced Credit Controller to be based from our Head Office in Bromsgrove. Key functions of the role are working as part of a large team managing a number of our client accounts ensuring timely payment. For this role we have the flexibility to offer this role on either a full time or part time basis.
The Package:
- Basic salary of £21,000 - £23,000 dependent on experience

- Initially you will be entitled to 30 days paid holiday per annum, rising to 33 days after a year’s employment inclusive of statutory holidays
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily banking and processing incoming cheques
- Posting/Allocating cash to the ledger
- Responsible for collection activity via telephone, email and letter for multiple customer ledgers
- Take ownership of customer ledgers as directed by the Credit Control Manager
- Investigating and resolving customer disputes, complaints and invoice queries within set timeframes
- Compliance with Company information security policies and procedures.
- Credit checking for new and existing clients
- Liaising with internal staff at all levels - including 90 branches nationwide and staff at all levels up to and including Director level
The Person:
To be successful in the role you will be an experienced Credit Controller with a good knowledge of Excel. Experience of working with self-billing accounts and online portals is preferred but not essential. You will also be organised and good at working under pressure to strict deadlines

Hours of Work:
Flexible days and hours can be offered if the role is of interest on a part-time basis.
A full time working week will consist of 37.5 hours between 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday - Friday with 1 hour’s lunch break each day.
