🚀 Join Our Team as an Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer – Bromsgrove (Hybrid Working)
The Best Connection Group Limited is expanding its IT team and we’re looking for a skilled Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer to help keep our technology running smoothly. Based at our modern Head Office in Bromsgrove, you’ll work closely with the IT Manager and play a key role in maintaining, supporting, and improving our core systems.
If you’re passionate about solving complex technical challenges, supporting a busy service desk, and having real influence over infrastructure performance, this could be the perfect next step in your career.
💡 What You’ll Be Doing
- Acting as an escalation point for 2nd/3rd line service desk queries
- Monitoring and maintaining our core servers and IT systems
- Investigating incidents and performing root cause analysis
- Supporting and enhancing our UK-wide infrastructure
- Hybrid working – up to 40% of the time, with occasional travel to our UK data centres and branch locations

💰 Competitive salary: £45,000 – £55,000 (DOE)

👤 About You
Essential:
- IT Degree or equivalent qualification
- Intermediate certifications (MS, Cisco, VMWare or similar)
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving abilities
- Proven 2nd/3rd line support experience
- Confident communicator with strong English skills
- Flexible to work occasional weekends or out-of-hours
Desirable:
- Advanced certifications (MS, Cisco, VMWare or similar
- Solid 3rd line or senior support experience
- Strong networking background
- Experience with Azure environments
- Full UK driving licence

⏰ Hours of Work
Monday – Friday | Up to 37.5 hours per week
Includes a 1-hour lunch break each day.
Office-based in Bromsgrove for the first 6 months, with hybrid working thereafter.
