The Best Connection Group Limited is seeking a Senior Data & Performance Analyst to join our Digital Strategy Team. In this role, you’ll lead the development of a company-wide performance and insight capability — turning numbers into decisions that make a real impact.

What you’ll be doing

  1. Build a Business Performance Framework
  • Develop and maintain a structured performance framework aligned to organisational objectives.
  • Define and refine KPIs across revenue, productivity, operational efficiency, and system adoption.
  • Establish performance benchmarks and ensure consistent metric governance across departments.
  1. Deliver Insight & Analysis
  • Conduct deep-dive analysis of operational and commercial performance.
  • Identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Model financial and productivity impacts of proposed changes (e.g., cost reductions, revenue uplift).
  • Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for senior leadership.
  1. Provide Cross-Functional Insight Support
  • Be the go-to analytics expert for Sales, Operations, Marketing, HR, Senior Leadership, and Digital teams.
  • Support key initiatives with data-driven recommendations and performance guidance.
  1. Lead Reporting & Dashboarding
  • Design and oversee high-quality dashboards and reports.
  • Shift reporting from reactive data provision to proactive performance insight.
  • Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with business priorities.
  1. Commercial Modelling
  • Quantify efficiency gains and productivity improvements.
  • Model ROI for digital initiatives, automation, and system enhancements.
  • Provide evidence-based financial analysis to support business cases.
  1. Develop People & Capability
  • Line manages and mentor junior analysts.
  • Elevate team capability from reactive reporting to structured insight generation.
  • Implement standards, processes, and governance to ensure data quality.

What we’re looking for

Essential:

  • Proven experience in business performance or commercial analytics.
  • Advanced data analysis skills (Excel, Power BI, or similar BI tools).
  • Experience defining KPIs and building performance frameworks.
  • Ability to model financial and productivity impacts.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
  • Experience managing or developing junior analysts.

Desirable:

  • Experience in recruitment or sales-driven environments.
  • Exposure to digital/product teams.
  • Knowledge of CRM or enterprise platforms (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Experience in KPI transformation or mature KPI environments.
