Why this role matters
Reporting to the Head of Marketing, you’ll be the driving force behind our performance optimisation, marketing governance, sales enablement, and the development of a high-performing team across both B2B and B2C activity. This is a pivotal hire — one that will shape how our 80+ branches, commercial teams, and national accounts engage with marketing.
What you’ll be doing
- Own Performance Marketing & ROI
- Manage and optimise a £250k+ paid media budget
- Build clear CPA metrics and reporting
- Test and expand channel mix, including paid social
- Deliver monthly performance insights and recommendations
- Reduce cost-per-acquisition and mitigate channel risk
- Transform Local Branch Marketing (80+ locations)
- Create a scalable branch marketing framework
- Introduce more robust budget governance
- Reduce reactive demands through improved processes
- Strengthen National Sales Enablement & ABM
- Build repeatable frameworks for tenders and QBRs
- Structure and grow ABM activity
- Coordinate high-quality B2B content and assets
- Partner with Sales Leaders to align activity to commercial priorities
- Lead Regulatory & External Communications
- Coordinate messaging around legislative and regulatory change
- Ensure accuracy, clarity and risk management
- Work closely with Legal, Operations and external partners
- Lead & Develop a Growing Team
- Line manage two Marketing Associates (B2B & B2C)
- Improve planning, prioritisation and workflow discipline
- Strengthen data literacy and commercial awareness
- Protect the team from unnecessary scope creep
- Manage Agencies & Specialists
- Source and manage external partners
- Ensure agency output aligns with performance objectives
What we’re looking for
Essential
- 5+ years in marketing, ideally in recruitment, B2B services or multi-site environments
- Proven experience managing £200k+ paid media budgets
- Strong digital analytics and ROI reporting skills
- Experience implementing marketing processes and governance
- Confident communicator with strong stakeholder management
- Experience managing and developing junior team members
- Comfortable operating both strategically and hands-on
